Since I was a little girl, I have been taking pictures, and it still makes me so happy!

Hi there, I’m Samantha! I'm a Galveston photographer and life-long artist. I'm so happy you found your way here, I can’t wait to create something beautiful together. Photography has been a passion for me since childhood. I fell in love with photographing my world and family as a little girl. My grandfather taught me about cameras and gave me all of my first ones. My aunt taught me to develop in the darkroom of her college, and my dad helped me build my own dark room by age twelve. In 2009 I graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelors of Fine Arts where I studied Photography and Painting. I genuinely love connecting with people, and the excitement and joy of a photoshoot just never gets old for me! I love light, color, incorporating the beauty of nature, and finding creative ways to capture natural moments of connection and love.

I’m a mama of 2 girls (pictured here!) and I feel a natural connection to the families I work with. It's easy to recognize the same love we all have for our children and partners in all families. I love photographing kids, and their pure wonder and joy is the most beautiful thing in the world to me. Letting them be free to play is how those magical and unplanned shots are possible!

I'm also a Galveston branding photographer. I especially love working with other creatives and helping small businesses, musicians, and artists in our area to create beautiful imagery for their brand. It really lights me up, and I just have so much fun collaborating with other creatives to help bring their ideas to life!
